Supplier Quality
Micronas is a semiconductor designer and manufacturer for automotive electronics and want to meet the requirements of this demanding and dynamic industry. A high quality and reliability of technical products with consistent competitiveness can only be achieved by focussing our attention as well on our suppliers’ quality. The collaboration with high-performance suppliers is an essential element which contributes to the company’s success. That’s why we rely on fair partnerships with the objective of promotion and development of our suppliers, based on our zero ppm philosophy.
We have initiated a substantial supplier management program which consists of:
- Supplier questionnaire
- Supplier self assessment
- Quality assurance agreement
- System- and process audits
- Supplier monitoring
Our quarterly elaborated supplier quality index contains a supplier evaluation based on the three main criteria economic efficiency, quality and service. We yearly award our best suppliers with the “Supplier Award”.
